Breakfast - the best food adventure of the day
I have the bad tendency that I found something that’s healthy, I tend to keep to that food until I get bored with it - which will result in me skipping breakfast because there’s nothing to eat anymore. That’s why I’ve been doing bit research to find new breakfast options.

I couldn’t live without bacon and eggs. Luckily, there hasn’t been need to give them up - as long as I don’t eat them every day (which has been unfortunately the trend lately, judging by my food diary.) These are the things I’ve been thinking to try out in near future:
Oatmeal with crushed flaxseeds, almond and berries (and a hint of cinnamon and honey)
I used to eat oatmeal a LOT at one point but grew tired of it because of the reasons mentioned earlier. I should give it a new try, since it is rather invincible in its health benefits.
Yoghurt with berries and a flapjack (granola bar)

I made recently some granola bars myself, as you can see from the pic. I used syrup to bind it together, but I guess there is no alternative for it? I used different kind of nuts, raisins and wheat germs to give it more nutritional value. They turned out to be pretty awesome, must say. Will do it again in near future and all different dried fruits instead of just raisins.
Protein shake
Hell, I even bought a blender just to be able to make these. The problem is that the protein powder I have is soy-based - and it tastes like shit. I’m still looking for the perfect combination to hide the taste of soy, since even when using berries and other high-sugar stuff, you can taste it through.
Fruit quark
I’ve been eating this as a snack but now when thinking of it, it’ll make quite nice breakfast as well. Cottage cheese, natural quark and canned fruits, mix all together - and voilá!
I just need to try new things once in a while.
